Mike has oversight for all shrink/waste and loss prevention efforts across nearly 2,800 stores in 35 states under two dozen banners with annual sales of more than $115.3 billion.

Mike serves on the Board of Directors for The Loss Prevention Foundation, is a member of the Retail Industry Leaders Association’s (RILA) Asset Protection Leadership Council, and serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for the Loss Prevention Research Council.

John Brocar is a Director with Ryan Fraud and Forensic Recovery, LLC. He is responsible for leading the Fraud Practice in Chicago. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Forensic Interviewer. John specializes in providing corporate investigations, fraud prevention and detection and disbursement risk analysis services. As a subject matter expert in the area of disbursement risk analytics, he assists clients globally identify expense reimbursement fraud, conflicts of interest, business risk vendors, fictitious vendors, ghost payroll, p-card and fleet card anomalies and other disbursement risk scenarios. He has more than 25 years of experience working with global organizations in a wide variety of segments.

A prosecutor, trainer, teacher, speaker and facilitator, Kimberly Overton currently serves with the North Carolina Conference of District Attorneys as the Chief Resource Prosecutor where she provides technical assistance, education and training to prosecutors, law enforcement and other criminal justice and allied professionals. Before coming to the Conference of District Attorneys in 2003 as North Carolina’s first Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor, Kimberly served as an Assistant District Attorney in Halifax County, NC working in both district and superior court. As an Assistant District Attorney and currently as a Special Prosecutor, Kimberly has handled all types of cases ranging from traffic tickets to homicide.

Brian L. Cutler, Ph.D.
Professor, Faculty of Social Science and Humanities
University of Ontario Institute of Technology
Brian L. Cutler, Ph.D. earned a doctorate degree in social psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1987 and serves as Professor in the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. In his role as Professor, Dr. Cutler teaches forensic psychology courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervises undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students in research, and conducts research on eyewitness memory, the suspect interrogation process, and other forensic psychology topics. Dr. Cutler has held research grants from the National Science Foundation of the United States and Social Science & Humanities Research Council of Canada. He has held various leadership roles, including Interim Dean, Associate Dean, and Department Chair at U.S. and Canadian universities, President of the American Psychology-Law Society (Division 41 of the American Psychological Association) and Editor-in-Chief of the peer-reviewed journal Law and Human Behavior.
Dr. Cutler’s publications include Editor or Author of The APA Handbook of Forensic Psychology, the Encyclopedia of Psychology and Law, Reform of Eyewitness Identification Procedures, Conviction of the Innocent: Lessons from Psychological Research, and five other books. He is also an author of more than 25 book chapters and 65 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Cutler is a Distinguished Member of the American Psychology-Law Society and Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science. With respect to his professional practice, Dr. Cutler has served as a consultant and expert witness in more than 250 criminal and civil cases in the U.S. and Canada and founded Coral Coast Group, Inc., a corporation that provides consulting and behavioral research services.
